Nagpur: A motorcyclist died of head injuries after he lost control of his speeding vehicle and collided with a stationary Tata Ace (a small commercial vehicle) near Digital Sakar Studio on Manewada Road in Hudkeshwar police area of Nagpur.
The deceased, Prafulla Shashikant Vishwakarma (29) was a resident of Vishwakarma Nagar, Ajni. His friend Gaurav Suresh Kadwe (27), a resident of Juna Babulkheda, who was riding pillion on the bike, sustained injuries.

Vishwakarma and Kadwe were returning home on a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MH49/AY-6116) around 11.30 pm on Thursday. Vishwakarma lost control of his bike and rammed into a stationary Tata Ace SCV (MH-27/BS-7095) parked on the roadside. Both friends were injured in the mishap.
They were rushed to the GMCH where Vishwakarma succumbed to his injuries in the wee hours of Friday.
Hudkeshwar Police registered a case under Sections 106(1), 125(B) of the BNS, read with Sections 122, 177 of the MVA.
