New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party briefing on former minister Kapil Mishra’s allegations of graft by Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP’s Sanjay Singh holds a press conference to refute the charges and says the party is behind Arvind Kejriwal. “There’s no question of Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation. The party stands united with him,” Singh said.

Holding up the letter written by Kapil Mishra to the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Singh says Kejriwal’s name is not mentioned in the report.

“He is saying exactly what BJP has been trying to allege. Kapil Mishra is frustrated because of his ouster. He is lying,” said Sanjay Singh.

The allegation that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal received Rs. 2 crore cash has been referred by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to the anti-corruption branch of the police for investigation. Kapil Mishra, sacked as minister by Kejriwal on the weekend, went public with the sensational charge on Sunday.

The anti-corruption branch is headed by Mukesh Kumar Meena, a police officer repeatedly targeted by Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party as “corrupt”.
