BJP fields Parinay Phuke, Pankaja Munde, 3 others for Legislative Council poll

Nagpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the names of the candidates for the Maharashtra Legislative Council biennial elections on Monday as the filling of nomination ends on July 2, 2024.

The BJP has nominated Parinay Phuke, Pankaja Munde, Yogesh Tilekar, Amit Gorkhe and Sadabhau Khot for the MLC polls.

The Election Commission is scheduled to conduct biennial elections on July 12 for 11 seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Council and the counting of the votes will be done on the same day.

The last date for filing nominations is July 2. Following the scrutiny of nominations on July 3, the candidates will have until July 5 to withdraw their candidatures.
