Body of an infant baby girl was found thrown in a ‘Nallah’ in posh Shankar Nagar area of the city on Sunday. The nasty act was aimed at disposing of the dead body of the infant and with a motive to hide the birth. Ambazari police, who were informed about the incident, reached the spot and after completing preliminary enquiry, sent the body of infant to Government Hospital for further course of action.
PSI Koli has registered an offence against the unidentified person(s) under Section 318 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
