Job related stress and strain often lead many cops to commit suicide. However, some time dead bodies of cops are found in mysterious circumstances too. In a shocking incident which occurred at midnight of January 13, 2015, the dead body of a 29-year-old Police Constable Manoj Meshram was found at the Panchpaoli Level Crossing.
Sources said that the constable could have committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. Sources also added that the constable could have been killed after Bilaspur-Nagpur Duronto Express ran over him.
Sensation prevailed in Panchpaoli Police Station when they received information of finding the severed dead-body of a police constable at Panchpaoli Level Crossing Gate No 2.
The deceased Police Constable is said to be working in the Office of the Rural Police.
The police officials of Panchpaoli Police Station sent the body for post mortem after performing necessary formalities at the spot. Till the time of filing of the story, the exact reason for his suicide/accident/ murder is still shrouded in mystery.
Sources in the police alleged that some of the injuries on the body of the deceased police constable Manoj were not consistent with being hit by a train. These injuries have raised several suspicions in the minds of the cops about exact cause of death. Only after receipt of Post-Mortem report will things become clear.
However, the Panchpaoli Police Station has filed a case of accidental death and is investigating further.
