A 12th fail man audaciously prefixed the title doctor (Dr) before his name and duped several people in the name of medical treatment. The bogus doctor, in fact, not only duped the people but also played with their lives. The fake doctor has now been booked.
The accused Dr Ajay Buddhadeo Vishwas, despite having no professional degree, prefixed the title doctor (Dr) before his name and opened a clinic ‘Matruchhaya Clinic’ at Plot No. 169, Hariom Nagar, Dattawadi, Nagpur. The accused, who has not even cleared the Class XII exam, prefixed Dr EHND degree and started giving medical treatment to people. However, the bogus doctor got exposed by chance when the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) checked ‘Dr’ Ajay Vishwas’s credentials during a routine inspection most probably on people’s suspicious. Drugs Inspector Nitin Padmakar Bhandarkar (47) of FDA immediately lodged a complaint with Wadi Police Station in this connection.

Wadi API Shinde, acting on the complaint, booked the bogus doctor Ajay Buddhadeo Vishwas under Section 420 of IPC read with Sections 33, 35, 36 of Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act 1961 and probing the matter thoroughly.
