Bomb Scare at Mumbai’s Churchgate Station, Search Operations Underway

Mumbai: A bomb scare at the Churchgate Station in Mumbai left the security officials in a tizzy on Thursday. According to latest reports, the bomb scare was received in the morning. The call was made at the RPF control room in Mumbai. Meanwhile, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) have conducted searches in the premises of Churchgate station but, nothing have not been able to recover as of now.

As per CNN-News18‘s information, extra police force has been deployed at the station to avoid any untoward incident. Noteworthy, it is being believed that the bomb threat might be a hoax.

The news comes at a time when a high-alert has been sounded throughout the country following the Amarnath yatra attack wherein, seven persons lost their lives after a bus carrying the pilgrims was attacked in Anantnag on Monday evening.
