Boy helped police to bring mother, uncle’s role in killing father

Nagpur: A school boy’s statement to police has uncovered mother’s involvement in his father’s murder case. On Sunday, Kalamna police has registered a murder case in the accident death of contractor Suresh Shah (40) who was found dead in an open area in ShivShambhu Nagar on October 3. Initially, police has registered a case of an accidental death but later changed it to murder offence on the basis of post mortem report that revealed Shah’s throat was slit.

Shah’s wife Rinku and his younger brother Sunil, 30, have been arrested by Kalamna police. Police informed that Shah had got a hint of Rinku’s illegal affair with Sunil and thus she plotted the murder plan with Sunil.

Police told that during interrogating of family members, Shah’s son told that he had heard his father’s last word in the midnight when he shouted was Rinku and Lalla. Police came to know that Sunil is also known as Lalla and later took him under interrogation. After hours of questioning, he finally spilled the beans and told the murder plan.

Police informed that Sunil, who had recently shifted to Delhi with his family, came to city on October 1. The next day while Shah was asleep, he and Rinku gagged him and slit throat. Later the duo dumped the body in Shiv Shambhu Nagar.
