Hyderabad: The timely action by Rajender Singh Bhati, Project Head Cube of MHPL’s Telangana Project saved the life of a young man who tried to commit suicide by jumping into Annasagar Pond in Andolu Mandal near Hyderabad in Telangana on Sunday.
The man has been identified as Bhanuprasad (30) of Patancheru town in Telangana. Bhanupratap was very upset over frequent quarrels with family.

According to Rajender Singh Bhati, Bhanupratap left home and came to Jogipet on a two-wheeler. Later, he reached Annasagar Pond, removed his shoes and jumped into the pond in a bid to end his life. Bhati, who was going by car from Narayankhed towards Sangareddy, noticed Bhanuprasad jumping into the pond and drowning. Bhati immediately stopped his car near the embankment and pulled Bhanuprasad out from the pond with the help of two youths there.
Bhanuprasad was counselled after being brought to shore. Bhati talked to family members of Bhanuprasad in Charavani and assured him a job in his company. He also gave Rs 500 to Bhanuprasad for immediate expenses.
