Nagpur: Even as the desperate cricket fans in Nagpur have been trying to console themselves for the Team India’s poor performance in T20 semifinals, here comes the most surprising news for all the cricket buffs in city and countrywide. In an unprecedented move the International Cricket Council has disapproved the ‘no balls’ repeatedly thrown by the Indian ballers after doing a thorough check of the videos of the live match!
In the match that ended on a disgusting note for all the Indian fans, Andre Russell hit the ball into oblivion, and the entire Wankhede was stunned. They didn’t know what had struck them. They were in a shock.
But now there is time for cheers as the ICC board has revisited the shots and discovered foul play in the game presented by West Indies strikers. especially Russel who led their team to victory.
As the shots were improper and twisted, ICC blocked the entry of Indies into the finals and cleared way for India to participate in the finals.
On condition of anonymity a top official of ICC told Nagpur Today that the decision was taken in the midnight meeting of the top ICC officials as a marathon round of checking the videos was done. “This has been historical decision ever seen or heard in the world of cricket. Now we are resting hopes on Indian team to make it to the victory in the finals,” informed a source from ICC.
Nagpur Today later learnt that though India could not make it to semifinals, the fans had all cheers for West Indies too. So its altogether not an issue who wins or lose, keeping in mind the vibrant and glossy sports spirit of Indian cricket fans.
So we also thought for a little change and tried our bit to distract the distressed fans’ attention from the loss. So here’s is turning you all an April Fool!!!!
Guess you won’t mind if you get some smiles… keep smiling…. and don’t take the defeat to your heart… It’s a game …Just chill!!!
