Crime Branch officers received information that Aishwarya was operating a sex racket from her house and was providing minor girls to customers by accepting thousands of rupees from them. Soon, the decoy customer signalled the SSB officers after confirmation that she was running a prostitution racket.

The SSB team raided the house and caught Aishwarya red-handed. After rescuing the two minor girls, cops registered a case under Sections 143(4) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, read with Sections 4, 5 and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, against Aishwarya Raut.
