Nagpur: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday afternoon declared results of Class X and Class XII.
Shrinidhi Deshpande of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, stood Vidarbha topper in Class X examination by scoring 99.4%. Priyansha Kapse and Tanmay Lanjewar, both students of Class XII of St Paul School scored 98.8 percent and 98.4% respectively.
Priyasha tops Class XII results from Nagpur. Priyasha had topped in Class X also where she had scored 98.8%. Aaradhya Singh, a student of Bhavan’s Ashti branch scored 99.2 percent in Class X while Madhura Dani of Bhavan’s Civil Lines branch scored 99 percent, securing third position in the list of meritorious students.
In Nagpur, the percentage scored by Priyasha in Class XII is the highest among all streams. Akarsh Sahay of School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, has shared second spot with Tanmay Lanjewar by scoring 98.4%.
In Commerce stream, Yug Golani, a student of School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, secured top position by scoring 96.6%. Krishna Sharma of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, and Tanisha Agrawal of Centre Point School, Katol Road, shared second position by securing 96.4%.
In Humanities, Siddhi Jaiswal of Bhavan’s Srikrishna Nagar, stood first. She scored 97%. Srishti Holay, a student of School of Scholars scored 96% and stood second in Humanities. Tanisha Gidwani of Centre Point School, Dabha, has probably secured third position in Humanities by scoring 95.8% marks.
Class XII examinations were conducted between February 15, 2024, and April 2. Most schools, including five Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya secured 100% results. Around 2,000 students appeared in Class XII examinations from 30 schools in the city. Class X examinations were conducted between February 15 and March 13, 2024.
Partially paralytic, but excellent performer:
Arnav Nitnaware, a student of Bhavan’s Ashti, has a medical history of one-side face paralysis as he had been diagnosed with Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Leak, scoring 84 percent in the results of Class X Examinations declared on Monday. He was diagnosed with this condition when he was in Class I and underwent three unsuccessful surgeries followed by one successful surgery in Mumbai. Though he got treated for the major health issue, and recovered completely, he is still vulnerable to infections.
While preparing for the Class X board examinations, he fell ill due to an infection which affected his studies. Despite this, he did his best in the examination and scored well. His father Vinod Nitnaware is a pharmacist, and mother Deea Nitnaware works at Ordnance Factory.
