Nagpur: The Central Railway Nagpur Division appeals to passengers to purchase food items and beverages only from authorized vendors on trains and station premises.
Passengers are requested to check for a sticker on cooked food packages mentioning the date and time of cooking. Food without a sticker mentioning date and time should not be purchased. Food should be consumed within four hours from the cooking time to ensure safety. Only purchase Rail Neer packaged drinking water which is authorized.

The Central Railway Nagpur Division requests passengers to verify vendor identity cards before making any purchases. If passengers have any complaints or concerns regarding food quality, they can dial 139 or log complaints on the RailMadad portal for prompt assistance.
Notably, a drive conducted on May 11, 2024, during which the squad apprehended 21 unauthorized vendors found illegally selling cooked food items, unauthorized brand water bottles, packaged snacks, soft drinks, and tea/coffee from hot campers on trains and station premises.
In another incident on May 13, 2024, at Ballarshah station, the Commercial team confiscated 8 boxes of Sunrich packaged drinking water bottles being transported illegally onto the platform.
The Central Railway Nagpur Division reiterates its commitment to passenger safety and urges travelers to be vigilant and report any irregularities to the concerned authorities.
