Central Railway Nagpur Division Intensifies Action Against Unauthorized Vendprs

Nagpur: In a commendable effort to bolster passenger safety and hygiene, the Nagpur Division of Central Railway conducted a successful special operation targeting unauthorized vendors from May 1st, 2024, to May 19th, 2024.

A specially formed task force comprised of Catering Inspectors, Ticket Checking Staff, and RPF personnel strategically deployed to ensure comprehensive coverage. This collaborative effort resulted in the apprehension of a total of 159 unauthorized vendors.

These vendors were found illegally selling various items, including cooked food items, unapproved brand water bottles, packaged snacks, soft drinks, and tea/coffee brewed on makeshift hot campers, on trains and station premises.

Passengers are advised to report any such instances to the concerned authorities for prompt action.
