The chaos began with the alleged leakage of MahaJyoti’s PhD fellowship paper at Kamala Nehru College in Nagpur. Reports suggest that not only was the paper leaked, but students were provided Xerox copies as well, prompting a mass boycott of the exam. The protesting students have congregated on the college grounds, expressing their dissent over the issue.

Simultaneously, in Pune, Sarathi, Barti, and MahaJyoti CET exam papers faced similar leaks, inciting fury among students. Savitribai Phule Pune University’s administration is under scrutiny once again due to mismanagement, as leaked papers have led to widespread anger and a subsequent boycott of the exams. The frustration among students is palpable as the integrity of the examination process has been compromised.

Further exacerbating the situation, revelations emerged regarding the exam centre at Smt. Kashibai Navale Engineering College in Vadgaon. Allegations surfaced that students were provided Xerox copies of question papers for the CET examination conducted by Sarathi, Barti, and MahaJyoti Research Institutes. Students noticed discrepancies in the sealing of specific question papers (C and D), prompting immediate public protests and a boycott of the compromised exam.

The fallout from these paper leaks has extended to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where students at Devagiri College protested vehemently against the administration. Disgruntled students created disturbances at the examination centre, expressing their grievances through slogans and protests.

The pervasive atmosphere of anger and frustration among students in these cities reflects the gravity of the situation. The breach of exam integrity has not only disrupted the examination process but has also eroded trust in the academic administration. Urgent measures are required to address these lapses and restore confidence in the examination system to ensure fair and secure assessments for all students involved.
