The Maharashtra Government has hiked the registration charges for fancy numbers for those four-wheeler owners who specifically demand the attractive numbers for their vehicles. The four-wheeler (Car) owners would now be provided the fancy numbers apart from two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and transport vehicles with hiked charges.  The fancy number seekers have to submit an application in the simple blank paper quoting the fancy numbers they wish to be provided by the Regional Transport Office. The only condition is the applicants must mention the series numbers and the numbers in their applications. The “first come first serve” process would be adopted by the RTO, informed the Regional Transport Officer, Nagpur (Rural).
