Chat on phone cost girl her life

Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a 20-year old engineering student fell from the third floor of Priyadarshini College of Engineering on Wednesday and died. According to eyewitness reports, the deceased lost her balance and fell from the third floor at about 2.05 pm. She was busy chatting on her phone when she fell from the building.

The deceased has been identified as Minakshi Manusamare, a student of electrical stream in the college. She hailed from Chandrapur district. Following the incident, the entire college is in mourning.

The girl was sitting and chatting with one of her friends on the phone. While doing that, she went near the window, lost her balance and fell down.

College authorities immediately informed the police and summoned medical service. The relatives of the girl were informed, who reached Nagpur. College authorities said that Minakshi was a brilliant girl and was focused about her studies. Police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway. The girl was sitting and chatting with one of her friends on the phone. While doing that, she went near the window, lost her balance and fell down.
