Nagpur: The Chemical Society Alchemy 2022-2023 was inaugurated at Dharampeth M.P. Deo Memorial Science College, Nagpur, at the hands of Dr Ratiram Chaudhary, Associate Professor and Head at S K Porwal College Kamptee.
After inaugural ceremony, Dr Chaudhary delivered a talk on, “Scope and Opportunities in Chemistry”. He enlightened the UG and PG students by sharing his knowledge and experience. He highlighted the immediate avenues which are open for the chemistry students. Dr Chaudhary threw light on various fellowships of recognized body such as DST, SERB, UGC & DBT, research publication with impact factor of Journals, Citation, H-index.

Dr Akhilesh Peshwe, Principal of college had expressed the happiness over progress of department of chemistry. He extended help and cooperation to the students community. He encouraged and motivated the students for their bright future and congratulated the office- bearers of Chemical Society 2022-2023.
Dr. Vaishali P. Meshram, Head of the Department & Convener of Chemical Society coordinated the entire programme successfully. Prof. P T Humane, Head, Department of Botany and IQAC Coordinator and all the staff members of Chemistry Department attended the programme.
Anushree Wele, President, Anshuman Sharma, Vice President, Anjalu Pali, Secretary, Vaishnavi Gadge , Joint secretary and Kartik Adlakhia , Treasurer of Chemical Society ALCHEMY 2022-2023 worked hard for the success of the programme. Vaishnavi Gadge conducted the proceeding and Gargi Hadge proposed a vote of thanks.
