Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visits 27 th COMP-EX’ 2019

Nagpur: The ongoing 27th edition of Comp-Ex, was graced by a very special and distinguished guest in Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon. Chief Minister, Maharashtra State. Firstly, Shri Devendra Fadnavis was gracious in accepting the invitation to visit CompEx 2019 despite his hectic and busy schedule; he flew in to Nagpur from New Delhi after attending an important meeting there, to be at CompEx today.

The Chief Minister was formally welcomed by VCMDWA office bearers viz. Mr. Rajesh Saboo, President, Mr. Dinesh Naidu, Secretary, Mr. Vinay Dharmadhikari, Vice President, Mr. Prashant Bulbule, Treasurer, Mr. Ranjit Umathe, Joint Secretary, Executive Members Lalit Gandhi, Sanjay Chaurasia and Nikhil Gandhi besides other members of VCMDWA. While on the dais, Hon. Chief Minister was welcomed with a floral bouquet by Mr. Rajesh Saboo and the CompEx memento was handed over by Vinay Dharmadhikari.

Besides appreciating the scale and the overall organizing efforts and facilities, in his address the Chief Minister congratulated VCMDWA for having successively and successfully organizing 27 editions of CompEx. Shri Devendra Fadnavis said that CompEx is connecting people to technology and praised the sustained efforts of VCMDWA in doing a yeomen service to propagate IT education and knowledge in the society. He also quoted with a very firm belief and confidence that though the IT revolution has started in Silicon Valley, but in coming years Indians will be the captains to lead the IT industrial revolution world over and the Future is only and only Technology.

Seeing school students amongst the audience, while Mr. Fadnavis expressed his happiness to see children in the IT oriented CompEx audience, he said that the new generation is born with technology and have a natural sense of understanding technology more than their parents who may be successful corporate or businessmen. The understanding of technology gives leverage to the children of this generation to dominate.

Mr. Fadnavis also cited details of how the government is introducing and enhancing usage of technology that drones are being used even to the extent of field of agriculture. He also passionately spoke about his government’s commitment to create an interface between the government and the general public at large.

Now a monumental personality of the state himself belonging to the modern era, Hon. Chief Minister also obliged and posed for a photograph with all the members of VCMDWA.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, the government of Maharashtra has extended its support to CompEx since past few years along with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. On the one hand, while the Maharashtra government is dedicatedly working to put Nagpur amongst the fast emerging smart cities of India with high level digital applications across the fields of education, industry, households, entertainment, and every other walk of life which is touched by the super fast penetration of the IT advancements, on the other hand Maharashtra Metro is already on the fast track and gaining speed with every passing month to bring the mass rapid transport system, the Majhi Metro to the people of Nagpur and adjoining towns.

With the curtains to come down on Monday, the 14th of January, 2019 evening, CompEx-2019 has well and truly succeeded in delivering yet another impactful fanfare to the IT savvy people of Central India. Rajesh Saboo, President VCMDWA has appealed to people from all walks of life not to miss the opportunity and spare a little time to visit CompEx as it happens to be the last two days of CompEx-2019 and take advantage to pick up products of their interest and need, especially under the fabulous offers that the companies have for the CompEx visitors.
