Nagpur: Even as people were still pondering over the Union Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, they were caught in the sudden showers accompanied by thunder in many parts of the city on February 29, 2016.
It was predicted by the Regional Meteorological Centre that rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur at a few places in East and West Vidarbha (including Nagpur) on February 29, 2016, which proved right.
A similar climate is forecasted for the next four days. The Regional Meteorological Centre has made a forecasting warning that Moderate Thunder Squalls accompanied with hail are likely to occur at isolated places over Central Maharashtra and Marathwada during the next 24 hours.
