Nagpur: As soon as Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni took the single, the spectators at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens as well as those watching the crucial WT20 cricket match on television sets in Nagpur also erupted in joy to celebrate India’s victory over arch rivals Pakistan.
The joy of the cricket fans in the city knew no bounds as a large number of them thronged Laxmi Bhavan Square, West High Court and other areas.
The fans were chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. With superb victory on Saturday, India maintained its record of not losing a match against Pakistan in any fonnat of cricket World Cup.
