The country made pistol recovered by the cops of Nandanvan Police Station
Nagpur: Some people go to any extent to take revenge for some folly done in the past. In a similar incident, one man places a Desi Katta in the house of his rival to take revenge in an ongoing dispute.
On April 7, 2016 the cops of Nandanvan Police Station received a secret tip off that a country made pistol (Desi Katta) would be found with Zulfikar Bhutto a resident of Roshanbagh, Kharbi area. The cops of Nandanvan Police Station also noted down the name and cell number of the informer to ascertain if it was a prank call. The cops of Nandanvan Police Station then went to the accused Zulfikar’s house and undertook an intensive search. During the search the cops of Nandanvan Police Station did locate one country made pistol (Desi Katta) and two cartridges. The Nandanvan Police recovered country made pistol (Desi Katta) and two cartridges from the house of the accused. However the cops could not find Zulfikar in the house. Only the married daughter of Zulfikar was present in the house, while her husband was in Pune.
While questioning her, she told the cops of Nandanvan Police Station that they had an ongoing rivalry with their relative identified as Jallaluddin son of Roshan Khan aged 72 years and a resident of Roshanbag in Kharbi area. She claimed that Jallaluddin Khan might have placed this country made pistol (Desi Katta) in their house to implicate her father in the case.

The cops of Nandanvan Police Station has started investigation and making discreet enquiry in the area about the on-going rivalry claimed by daughter of Zulfikar.
Independent witness had allegedly told the cops that when nobody was present in the house of Zulfikar Bhutto, Jallaluddin had once taken the keys of Zulfikar Bhutto’s house by convincing the neighbours that he wants to take the stove (Chullha) from that house. After taking the stove, Jallaluddin had later handed over the key back to that neighbor (independent witness). On suspicion, the cops of Nandanvan Police Station verified the name of informer, which turned out to be Jallaluddin and the cell number was used by him.
Immediately the cops of Nandanvan Police Station registered an offence under relevant sections of the Arms Act and arrested the real accused Jallaluddin Khan, aged 72 years. During the course of intense interrogation, Jallaluddin confessed that it was him who had placed the country made pistol (Desi Katta) in Zulfikar Bhutto’s house. He also confessed that this was an act to take revenge for the ongoing dispute between him and Zulfikar. The accused Jallaludin also confessed that he had procured the country made pistol (Desi Katta) from Madhya Pradesh.
The dispute arose when the daughter-in-law of Jallaluddin had made some allegations against the family of Jallaluddin and has filed a case of domestic abuse against the family of Jallaluddin. Incidentally, the marriage of the son of Jallaludin with the girl was arranged by Zulfikar Bhutto.
The entire investigation was successfully carried out by Senior Police Inspector of Nandanvan Police Station Mahadik and the staff of Detective Branch (DB) of Nandanvan Police Station.
