CM Fadnavis reviews law and order, directs cops to act fast on common people’s complaints

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday reviewed the law and order situation in Nagpur City. Fadnavis directed the authorities to tone up police efficiency and working capacity of all police stations across the city for taking cognizance and immediate action on common people’s complaints.

The review meeting of Chief Minister was held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Hall in Collectorate. It was attended by Divisional Commissioner Anoop Kumar, Commissioner of Police K K Pathak, Joint Commissioner of Police Anup Kumar Singh, Nagpur Range’s Special Inspector General of Police Ravindra Kadam, District Collector Abhishek Krishna, District Superintendent of Police Dr Arti Singh, and other senior officials.

Fadnavis directed the authorities to submit a collective proposal on installing CCTVs in Nagpur city. Similarly, tough action should be taken against sand mafia, illegal liquor, gambling and other grave crimes.
