CM registers for SVN Annual Reunion 2015

sarswati-schoolNagpur: Saraswati Vidyalaya Alumni Association (SVAA) is organizing the annual Reunion of all ex students of the school on 27th December 2015 in school premises from 6.30-8.30pm wherein Saraswati Ratna will also be awarded to jury selected 5 accomplished SVians from 19 nominations of 1953-1970 SVN batches by Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

R.Nagaraja Sharma, Smt.Maya Muley, Dr. Maharaja A Iyer, Dr.K. Sunder Rajan, G.Balasubramanian, G. Jayaraman , Smt.Gauri Ravindra Mahajan ,Major General Ajit Hari Gadre, Dr. Kailash Marwah, Ramamurthy Jayaraman, M.R.Srinivasan, N.V.Sarma, Rahul Kumar Guha, Smt.Rupa Shekhar Rai, Dr. Shanta Satyanarayan, A.K.K. Kumar alias Rajan Nair, Smt. Meera Chandrashekaran, Dr.M.Soumya Narayanan and Jagannathan G. Are the nominees’ from 1953-1970 SVN batches who have made distinct mark in their respective fields and have not only made the school but the city & country proud.

Hon’ble Justice Satyaranjan Dharmadhikari, Yeshwant Kanetkar & Dr.Seema Somalwar are the jury members who are screening 5 Saraswati Ratnas from chosen 19 noble nominees.

Having heard that each Svian is contributing Rs.500/- per head to cover up the expenses of organizing the annual Reunion of all batches, Hon’ble Chief Minister called up SVAA officials to handover his entry fees and got himself registered as he is also an ex student.

The registration was done by Shreekrishna Buty, Treasurer, SVAA.

Prominently present on this occasion were Dr.Anup Marar, President and Mitesh Rambhia, Joint Secretary, SVAA. Hon’ble CM wished SVAA team all success and anticipated that all ex students do avail the opportunity of this reunion and network with their peers and colleagues across batches and envisage many socially beneficial projects which will add glory to Saraswati Vidyalaya and help our city. He also expressed happiness at the exemplary brotherhood seen amongst all SVians across batches.
