Nagpur: The current cold, cloudy and hazy conditions in Maharashtra will be continued for this week, the Indian Meteorological Department forecasted.
Though there are no significant weather systems over the State, there persist to be moist-loaded winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. The day temperature shall remain far below normal till January 20 over most of Maharashtra. Notably, there will be a cold feeling experienced during this time coupled with time-to-time cloudy weather.
The Second Capital of the State on Monday, recorded a minimum temperature 12.4 degrees Celsius. The Regional Meteorological Centre’s data recorded a change of -0.2 degrees in the last 24-hours.
While Gondia shivers at minimum of 11 degrees Celsius, Gadchiroli and Washim records 12 degrees Celsius, followed by Nagpur 12.4 degrees Celsius, Buldana 13.4 degrees Celsius, Wardha 13.5 degrees Celsius, Brahmpuri 13.9 degrees Celsius, Yavatmal 14 degrees Celsius, Amravati 14.1 degrees Celsius, Chandrapur 14.4 degrees Celsius, and Akola 15.5 degrees Celsius.
