Nagpur: A teenage college-bound girl went missing in Imambada area on Tuesday (September 12) and was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified person(s).
The complainant 49-year old relative told police that his 17-year old daughter left home around 11 am on Tuesday for going to college. However, the girl did not return home till to date. Her relatives searched her frantically at all possible places but could not find her. Finally, a missing complaint was lodged with Imambada police.
PSI Mohekar, following the directives of Supreme Court which say that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under section 363 of the IPC and tracing her.
