College education facility in Gadkari’s adopted village Pachgaon

Nagpur: For the first time, facility of college education has been made in Pachgaon village adopted by Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.

Gadkari has fulfilled 95 percent of announcements made during the adoption of Pachgaon village. The announcements include cement roads, ambulance to Primary Health Centre, toilet at every home in the village, modern gymnasium for youths, e-library and e-learning for students, free wi-fi facility, power connection to every farmer for irrigation, construction of new Primary Health Centre, 24X7 water supply, etc.

However, many students in Pachgaon village were forced to go to Umred or Nagpur for college education due to lack of such facility in the village. Keeping this fact in mind, Gadkari requested the State Education Minister Vinod Tawde to create college education facility in Pachgaon village he had assured during a bhoomipujan programme. Fulfilling the assurance, education facility for students of Class XI and XII was made available under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
