College, shop targeted by burglars

Nagpur News : While city was busy welcoming the lord Ganesha on Monday, burglars broke open a camera shop and a college office in separate places and decamp with gadgets and computers worth Rs 7 lakhs.

At Lakadganj, thieves broke open the shutter lock of Nitesh Jain’s shop at Adamshah square on Central Avenue. Jain, a resident of Itwari, claimed that thieves had decamped with all digital cameras and handy cams worth Rs 5 lakhs from the shop. He had last locked shop on Monday night.

The second incident took place at Shanti Niketan College office in Civil Lines. Vivek Katore had reopened the office after two days on Tuesday morning and found the computers, projectors and speakers stolen from the office. He had suspected the loss of worth Rs 2.22 lakhs.
