Nagpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party has been raising questions over the timing chosen by Nana Patole for his resignation from Lok Sabha seat. BJP’s Vice-President and MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh has been suspecting that Cong has instigated Patole to give resignation.
Addressing a press conference today Deshmukh said that the way Mani Shankar Aiyar has commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it’s sure to create unfavourable condition for Congress. But Congress to get away from this must have asked Patole to resign. Patole was continuously in touch with the Congress and finally today the resignation came. Before and after giving the resignation Patole met the Congress leader this makes it all the more clear. BJP has 282 MPs and 1500 MLAs so it hardly makes a difference if one resigns. Patole was a MP from Bhandara-Gondia constituency. Deshmukh said that he has spoken to BJP public representative but not a single person is in favour of him.
Deshmukh further said bthat Patole has been sulking since long. Chief Minister has been talking to him time and again over the farmers’ issues. Despite this he was not satisfied. Patole has been blaming the government for neglecting the farmers’ problems but this is not true. This government has waived of farmers’ loan more than other governments have done. Since BJP has been wining every where this itself proves that people are happy with the present government’s working.
