Nagpur: In view of a Bharat Bandh call given by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Monday, activists of Nagpur City Congress hit the streets at several places in city in support of the agitation. The Congress workers organised peaceful programmes and urged the traders and others to support the Bharat Bandh call by closing their establishments. The Bharat Bandh on Monday was to protest the three controversial farm laws passed by Central Government.
The Congress activists came out in support of Bharat Bandh as per the directives of Nagpur City Congress Committee (NCCC) President Vikas Thakre and the party MLC Abhijit Wanjari. The party workers of East Nagpur Block-3 staged the agitation at from Jagnade Square to KDK College.
The agitation was participated by Block President Rajesh Paunikar, NCCC Secretary Milind Dupare, Kumar Bawankar, Rakesh Konoje, Mujib Bhai Warsi, Purshottam Lonare, Naushad Bhai Ali, Raju Bhende, Mushtaq Sheikh, Manish Wankhede, Parmeshwar Raut, Prashant Patil and others.
