Nagpur News: The official Congress candidate for Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency Vilas Muttemwar will file his nomination papers at 11 am on Friday (March 21). Muttemwar is joint candidate of Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, People’s Republican Party, Republican Bahujan Ekta Manch, and Lokmanch Front.
The Nagpur City Congress Committee President Vikas Thakre, NCP City President Ajay Patil, People’s Republican Party’s Founder and former MP Jogendra Kawade, Republican Bahujan Ekta Manch’s Founder and former minister Sulekhatai Kumbhare and Lokmanch Founder Atalbahadur Singh have jointly appealed supporters of all these parties to gather at “Samvidhan Chowk” (RBI Square) at 9.30 am on Friday.
Vilas Muttemwar, after garlanding the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at “Samvidhan Chowk,” will proceed towards Collector’s Office in a procession to file his nomination papers for 16th Lok Sabha elections.
MUTTEMWAR’S APPEAL
Coming March 22 is 65th birthday of Vilas Muttemwar. In a press release, Muttemwar has humbly appealed supporters, well-wishers and patrons of Congress, NCP and other alliance parties not to advertise about his birthday in any manner. The expenditures on such advertisements are added to the candidate’s election expenditure in accordance with Election Commission of India’s directives. Therefore, Muttemwar has urged the workers and well-wishers to take note of this appeal and the fact, the press release issued by Muttemwar has said.
