Nagpur: The City unit of Congress on Wednesday held a meeting under the presidentship of Vikas Thakre. All the 29 newly elected Corporators attended the meeting.
The Congress Corporators, by a draw of lots, decided to field Neha Nikose for the post of Mayor. Similarly, Nitish Gwalvanshi will be candidate for Deputy Mayor’s post. Both the candidates have submitted their nominations.
The meeting did not decide the name for the post of Leader of Congress Party in NMC. The decision has been left to the perusal of MPCC President Ashok Chavan.
