Nagpur: A conman took a 17-year old girl to Saunsar in Madhya Pradesh on a fictitious pretext and kidnapped her on Friday. Cops have launched a search to trace the girl as well as nab the abductor.
According to complaint lodged by Kotwali-based grandmother of the girl, the accused Sanjay Bute (30), native of Saikheda, Saunsar Tehsil, District Chhindwara (MP), told the girl that she will receive good money on the basis of marks obtained by her in the exams. But she will have to fill up the form from Saoner. With these bogus words, the accused Sanjay Bute took the girl to Saoner on Friday. After reaching Saoner, Sanjay told the girl that a signature of a ‘Saheb’ will have to be taken from Saunsar. Believing Sanjay, the girl accompanied him to Saunsar. However, neither the girl nor the accused Sanjay Bute returned to Nagpur since then.
Kotwali PSI Totewad has registered a case under Sections 363, 366 of the IPC and mounted a search to trace the girl and the kidnapper as well.
