Cops bust sex racket at Sitabuldi lodge, arrest two men

The two girls rescued in the raid were rescued earlier also.

siddiNagpur: Social Security Branch of Nagpur police busted a sex racket and arrested two persons including a lodge owner. Two girls were also rescued by the cops. Incidentally, the two girls were rescued by the police in earlier raid.

The sex racket was being run at fourth floor of Siddhi Vinayak Lodge situated near Shrikrishna Apartment, Modi No. 3, Sitabuldi. One of the accused Harshal Bhagwan Kannake (29) of Wathoda used to lure the two rescued girls with easy money and take the girls to the lodge for flesh trade.

The second accused Balaji Sadashiv Khobragade (60), the lodge owner and a resident of Hudkeshwar, used to make available the lodge for running the sex racket. Acting on a tip-off, the cops attached to Social Security Branch raided the lodge and rescued the two girls again. The cops also booked the two accused Harshal Bhagwan Kannake and Balaji Sadashiv Khobragade under Section 370 of IPC read with Sub-Sections 3, 4, 5, 7 of Prevention of Illegal Trafficking Act and arrested them.
