Nagpur News : Jaripatka police successfully rescued a minor girl who was kidnapped on Wednesday afternoon. The girl was held captive in Mhada quarters, Nari Road. Cops have arrested the 20-year-old youth in this connection.
According to information, Zuber Khan Pathan (20) kidnapped a 16-year-old girl on Wednesdayafternoon and held her captive in his Mhada quarters room no. 264. When he did not come out of the room for more couple of hours, someone informed police control room. Jaripatka police swung into action after getting the information.
Jaripatka PSI Kinnake along with her team reached the scene and scene. Cops barged into the house and found Zuber in the room and the girl was hiding in the washroom. When cops interrogated, the girl misled them and gave incorrect information about her whereabouts.

However, soon her identity was established and her family members were informed. Zuber befriended the girl, who is a resident of Ramai Nagar and worked in a shop with him. And then took her to his quarters with wrong intentions. Cops are investigating if the girl had been molested, however, medical reports will soon ascertain the truth.
Meanwhile, cops have registered an offence under Sections 366 and 363 of the IPC and arrested Zuber.
