Corporator Munna Yadav terms kidnapping charges as conspiracy, says will come clean

The BJP Corporator Munna Yadav, who was booked on the charges of kidnapping and beating a youth, has denied the allegations and said that he and other family members will soon come clean on the issue.

“It is a well-planned conspiracy on the part of my rivals. I am not in any way connected with the case nor any of my family members involved in the case. It is a conspiracy by my opponents to defame me in political circles. I will come clean over the matter,” asserted Munna Yadav.

It may be recalled that Dhantoli police had booked nine persons including President of Kamgar Kalyan Mandal and BJP Corporator, his wife, son, brother and five others, on the charges of abducting a 21-year old boy, detaining him with his hands and legs tied, abusing and beating him over a dispute. Booking of the BJP Corporator rattled the party and damage-control acts were immediately initiated.

The accused have been identified as Munna Yadav, BJP Corporator, his wife Laxmi Yadav, son Chintu Yadav, brother Baba Yadav and five other accused. It is learnt Laxmi Yadav is also a former Corporator.

On the basis of the complainant Rahul Madhukar Dudhbavre (21), resident of Chuna Bhatti, behind FCI Godown, Dhantoli police booked  Munna Yadav, Laxmi Yadav, Chintu Yadav, Baba Yadav and five others under Sections 143, 147, 383, 342, 323, 504 of IPC and launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
