Court notice to Standard Chartered Bank

Nagpur: In the year 2010, Neeta Manish Mehta bought a property in Ramdaspeth. A total of 28 companies had offices on rent in the said property and sizeable number of employees are working.Neeta Mehta and her husband Manish Mehta had taken a big loan from Standard Chartered Bank, Mumbai and the property at Ramdaspeth was mortgaged with Said Bank. Due to non-payment of loan amount on time, the bank issued notice of e-auction in current paper on 20/4/2024.

One of the lessee companies has filed an injunction suit against the bank and the Mehta couple in the Court. The court accepted the claim of the tenant and passed an order of temporary injunction and issued a notice against the respondent bank and the Mehta couple. It is special that the businessman Manish Mehta is close to the Union Minister of the ruling party.
