Nagpur: The Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar announced a significant reshuffle in Nagpur City police, effecting 29 transfers of Senior Police Inspectors on Wednesday.
Senior Police Inspector of Crime Branch Narendra Hiware was assigned the crucial post of In-charge of Sitabuldi Police Station. Similarly, Senior Police Inspector Atul Sabnis of Sitabuldi, was handed over the reins of Lakadganj Police Station. PI Vinayak Golhe, who had been serving at Tehsil Police Station, has been shifted to Ambazari Police Station. PI Mahesh Sagade, who was earlier stationed at Unit-3 of Crime Branch, has been given charge of Gittikhadan Police Station.

Furthermore, key positions in the Crime Branch were filled by capable officers. Crime Branch PI Anil Taksande has been appointed as In-charge of Sakkardara police station, PI Sanjay Jadhav as in-charge of Kapil Nagar, PI Gorakh Kumbar as in-charge of Pardi and PI Ganesh Jamdar of Escort Cell as In-charge of Wathoda police station.
Traffic Branch also saw some notable appointments, as PI Narendra Wankhede of Special Branch, PI Chittaranjan Chandure from Cyber, PI Bharat Karhade from Ganeshpeth, PI Ajay Akre from Nandanvan, PI Santosh Wairagade, have been transferred to Traffic Branch.
