Nagpur: Newly appointed all women board members along with 250 women in various capacities serve and care for patients from doctors, nurses, technicians, administrative staff, housekeeping and paramedical personnel. It is a true representation of how Orange City Hospital has forged women’s empowerment in the city.

Dr. Vidya Nair, second generation entrepreneur is the eldest of the three sisters; paved her path from Clinical Psychiatry to Hospital Management as she graduated in Business Administration from the esteemed Johns Hopkins University. She spearheaded initiatives for the hospital since her return and as the Chairperson is responsible for strategic partnerships, new initiatives and hospital transformation projects.

Smt. Divya Nair, serving as the Director is focusing on fulfilling the growing need of manpower within the healthcare needs. She understands the challenges faced by women as she works for their uplifment and believes that women shape the future of a society as a whole. Her aim is to integrate our platform with vulnerable communities, thus enabling employment.

Dr. Vinaya Nair, youngest of the Board members specialized in Anesthesiology shares her vision in reinventing Critical Care with the latest and modern innovation as we need to cater to the growing geriatric population. She is pursuing to gain international exposure only to contribute back home and adapt to the local needs.

Dr.Usha Nair is a powerhouse of experience as being part of the hospital since day one. She is the first trained specialist in the city from Tata Memorial in Mammography. She is an ardent Managing Director and has worked tirelessly over the years. She has been an integral part of the evolution of healthcare in Nagpur spanning three decades now.

Last but not the least, Smit. Vilasini Nair as a promoter is the backbone of the family. A graduate from Madras University and a postgraduate from B school, Chennai; she is a
social activist and founder-president of Ashrita Mahila Mandal working for the welfare of underprevileged, deprived and destitute women of the region. As a business woman, she has created job opportunities for hundreds of school dropouts giving them second chance to lead a dignified life.
