Crime Branch busts sex-racket involving minor girl at OYO Krishnakunj in Manish Nagar, Nagpur

Nagpur: In a significant action against immortal sex rackets involving minor girls, the Unit 4 of Nagpur Crime Branch on Monday raided OYO Krishnakunj in Manish Nagar area and rescued a minor girl and arrested three persons who forced her into prostitution.

The accused were identified as Alok Rajendra Raikwaar (34), a resident of Ajni, Dheeraj Ravindra Khule (25), a resident of Beltarodi, and Gajanan Ramhari Sonwane (40), a resident of Manish Nagar were arrested by the cops.

According to police sources, PSI Ayub Sande of Unit 4 of Crime Branch received secret input regarding a sex racket being run at OYO Krishnakunj in Manish Nagar. After raiding the premises, cops found that accused Raikwaar reportedly threatened the minor girl and lured her with money and pressured her to perform an obscene act with a man.

OYO Krishnakunj hotel staff also didn’t verify the minor girl’s age and provided room to the accused.

Crime Branch Unit 4 led by PI Shyam Sontakke, PSIs Ayub Sande, Vaibhav Barange, Avinash Jaybhay, Police Constables Atul Chate, Purushotta, Kalmegh, Yuvanang Kadu, Police Naik Chetan Gedam, Ajay Paunikar and others made the arrest.

The action was planned under the supervision of Addl CP (Crime), DCP (Detection) and ACP (Detection).
