The recent rains have damaged crops of 100 villages of 8 divisions across Nagpur and Wardha. The divisions affected under the Nagpur district are Nagpur Taluka, Bhiwapur, Kuhi and Umred. The areas affected under Wardha district are Wardha Taluka, Karanja, Selu and Devli. Further Soyabean Crops of 100 villages have been destroyed due to these insects and pest. The number of villages under Nagpur district affected are Bhiwapur -10, Kuhi-7 and Umred -5 and the area or Wardha are Devli-17, Karanja-5, Selu-9 and Wardha District villages affected are reported be to be 21. This makes the total number of affected areas to 100. All these areas were badly affected by these insects and pest.
