Nagpur: Mujahid Khan, an employee of Central Railway, won gold and bronze medals in Senior National Hockey Championship.
Mujahid, who is working in OSM Depot as a helper, completed his study from Tidke Vidyalaya. Being interested in sports, he started playing hockey from the school in 2006. In 2008, Mujahid joined SAI hostel in Mumbai and learnt the finer points of hockey till 2012. Being an ace hockey player, Central Railway offered him a job in 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Mujahid displayed his excellence and won three medals including two gold and a bronze. In 2018 and 2019, while representing Indian Railways, Mujahid bagged bronze and gold medals in Senior National Hockey Championship.
Central Railway’s Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (General) Namdeo Rabde recently felicitated Mujahid Khan for his outstanding feat.
