“Beautifying a Cupcake is an art”
Nagpur: Cupcake decoration Competition was held at The Achievers school on 5th November 2022. The competition was for students from grades 1 & 2. The objective behind the competition was to inculcate kitchen safety,as it is a great life skill students should learn. Also it helps the students to learn how to present hygienic food on the plate.The participants’ creativity was revealed through the beautiful designs and patterns formed on cupcakes.
The Director Academics and Principal Dr. Priyadarshini Deoghare encouraged them with her motivational words. The students displayed many creative ideas for decorating a cupcake and many more ingenious decorations using commonly available ingredients like candy, chocolate shavings, gems, frost cream and tutti fruti.The participants explained the specialty of their cupcake decoration. The main focus of the Competition was not only the decoration but also upon their artistic presentation which carried an aesthetic aspect.
Equal emphasis was on the hygienic considerations which were to be kept in view while preparing and dressing the final product.Judgment was done by Mentors Harish Kanna and Sangeeta Mahatpure.Cleanliness, safety, taste and presentation were the basic criterion for the judgment.
