DCP Lohit Matani distributes blankets to pavement dwellers in Nagpur

Nagpur: With a chilling cold gripped the Second Capital of the State, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 1 Lohit Matani once again turned ‘Good Samaritan’ displaying humanitarian gesture of the Men in Khaki and distributed blankets among poor and to those found sleeping on the pavements.

Owing to the cold wave pavement dwellers in the city have been facing a lot of trouble. Recent reports also suggested that some people have lost their lives due to cold. Thus, taking cognizance and discharging his social responsibility, DCP Matani distributed blankets to the people living on the footpath.
