Nagpur: Sensation prevailed in Dhantoli area after decomposed body a 40-year-old man was found in a house on Friday. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Detection Gajanan Rajmane informed that the body was found at Plot No. 34, Dr. Daji Deshmukh Marg,Vivek Kukreja’s old house, after neighbours complained of foul smell.

The police staff rushed to the spot and performed panchanama. As identity of the deceased was not established, the police have decided to conduct coronavirus test of the deceased.

As the body is partially decomposed, the police took a swab sample for coronavirus test. Post-mortem will be performed only after receiving report of the coronavirus test, the DCP said. A case of accidental death was registered by Dhantoli police.
