Nagpur News : Decomposed body of a middle-aged man was bound in mysterious circumstances on Mondayevening at the terrace of a house at Rameshwari Square. The body, police said, has been identified as Narendra Ganpatrao Gajbhiye (45).
The body was found by Sudhir Nitnaware, who was putting up at the residence of Mangesh Shahu. Police said, the deceased was also staying with his family. Sudhir informed the cops that Narendra was a regular drinker. He consumed alcohol most of the time of the day and also played lottery at Mangesh Shahu’s shop. Police said, Narendra’s wife lived separately with her children since Narendra could not control his drinking habit. Narendra was living with his friend Sudhir and his family.
Police said that Narendra was missing for past two days. Cops informed that Sudhir had gone out of town with his family for past two days. When he came back on Monday, he smelled an own smell in the house. He reached the source of that smell and was shocked to see a badly decomposed body of Narendra. He immediately informed Ajni police about the incidence who rushed to the spot. They performed panchanama and sent the body for post mortem at Government College and Hospital.
Prima facie, police said that Narendra might have died because of the over consumption of alcohol. However, the reason would be confirmed only after the post-mortem report. Further investigations are under way.
