Deepika Padukone is busy shooting for her Vin Diesel movie XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. However, if you thought that Deepika would be missing out on the plum Bollywood roles, then think again! News is that Deepika will be playing the female lead in Kabir Khan’s next with Salman Khan.
A leading daily reports a source as saying, “Deepika has been almost finalised for the role. She hasn’t signed any films since last year and this will be her first announcement. The film goes on floors in July end-early August, by when she will have finished her commitment in Hollywood. The film is set in the 1960s. There is also another hero in the film, who will play the character of Salman’s brother. The film is tentatively titled Tubelight, and that is also what Salman is called in the film.”
