Nagpur: In a joint operation, volunteers of Wildlife Welfare Society and Forest Animals Birds Protection Social Organisation have rescued schedule ‘A’ tortoise and seized Deer meat in a three-hour-long trap laid in Khapa in Saoner Tehsil here, on Monday night.
The volunteers comprising Daddu Ganvir, Anup Satpute, Amol Awarkar, Khushvant Ganorkar, Gaurav Nagpure, Rakesh Bhoyar, Sahil Sharnagat, Pankaj Badule, Gaurang Waikar, Nitish Bhandakkar conducted the action.
