Delegation meets MLC Kapil Patil over long-standing demands of teachers

Katol: The MLC Kapil Patil was given a memorandum by a teachers’ delegation and discussed various problems of teachers. Schools with a number of students less than 20 should not be closed, the teachers demanded.

Other demands include the issue of teachers’ headquarters should be settled, the basic services of the slum school teachers should be taken over and benefits should be given to them. The salary of the teachers should be regularised on the 1st day of the month itself. Pension of many retired teachers was not received even after Diwali. The government should try to implement a cashless mediclaim scheme for teachers. The government should solve the issue of excess employees in the upcoming winter session. Many other issues too were discussed.

The MLC promised to make 100% effort to solve all the issues of teachers and give justice to them. On this occasion, Shikshak Bharti district leaders Mahendra Bansinge, Naresh Pannase, Sudhakar Thakre, Jagdish Raut, Raju Yawalkar, Vinod Gharpure, Umesh Bangale, Kailas Waghmare, Ramchandra Love, Jitendra Tawale, Subhash Kolhe, Govinda Uke, Sanjay Bhende, Deepak Tidke, Vasant Bhusari, Janyat Bansod, Anjira Lokhande and other office bearers and activists were prominently present.
