Depressed 15-year-old boy commits suicide

Nagpur: Depressed by inadequate preparations for his HSC exams, a 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide in Ajni area on Tuesday. Around 9 am, AmrutYashwant Pande was found hanging from the ceiling hook with a ‘Dupatta’ in his house at Plot No 21, Juna Babulkheda.
Family members rushed him to Government Medical College & Hospital where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead.’

Preliminary investigation revealed that Amrut was quite depressed over his poor preparations for the upcoming examination. He was also demanding an Andriod mobile phone from his parents. His parents told him to wait for sometime as the cost of cellphone was bit high.

As he started insisting for the cellphone, his parents denied. Ajni Police registered a case under Section 174 of Code of Criminal Procedure and started further investigations.
